About Tash

Natasha in studio

I've always loved stories.

As a former history and classics teacher, I spent years exploring the people, ideas and events that shape who we are. After October 7th, I returned to painting as a way to process, reflect and create.

What began as a creative outlet became a way of telling stories through paint.

Each piece starts with a story. Sometimes it's a historical event, a prayer, a song lyric or a family memory.

To me, history isn't something we leave behind. It's something we inherit, remember and carry forward, through the stories we tell, the traditions we keep and the moments we share. Painting and poetry have become my way of adding to that story.

Modern pieces. Ancient roots.
